The Respect Group is a charity based in the North East of England, involved in Ex-Offender Training.
We run several projects which:
- Educate the young people in local schools about Drugs, Alcohol abuse, Anti Social Behaviour and the possible build up to prison.
- Educate the young people in local schools about the stigma and disadvantage that comes with having a criminal record.
- Offer Personal Development Courses to Ex-offenders through the use of various Cognitive Algorithm models
- Provide a fast route to address homeless issues.
- Address exclusion and disadvantage to Ex-offenders on release and beyond.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring support for Ex-offenders.
- Provide support to the ARK Community Accept, Respect, Knowledge Project in Houghton Le Spring.
Support Projects working with disadvantaged young people to ensure that they are given every possible chance to meet their full potential and participate fully in society.
It is often the skills and attitude of employers that will seperate your organisation from your competitors. A high performance culture created through a discipline of self achievement works smarter, faster and creates higher profitability. Our training equips and offers valid support to the existing systems of rehabilitation of prisoners and ex-offenders and provides effective preventative measures to combat challenging behaviour.
The changes our training courses make facilitate business awareness, self motivation and improve personal effectiveness thereby creating a competitive edge.
We know the “hard facts” which is why our training works. This is simply down to the fact that the team is composed of Ex- career criminals, Lecturers, and other professionals who are well able to communicate with authority, on the real life accounts of what is happening within the classrooms, wings, and cells of prison today.
As a team we succinctly understand the mindsets of those locked up in prison, and what MUST take place in the individual to free them from their mental and emotional prison of limitation.
In order for valued social integration to be successful in the life of a devalued individual a number of support agencies must be present, operational and effective in delivering relevant, consistent content and be competent in identifying the offender needs of each individual. We understand this explicitly!!.
The Respect Group North East develops training procedures which compliment and enable a movement away from the traditional conventional focus of offender variables i.e. (Key Skills, ESOL,) by creating variables which are within the control of the individual’s potential.
WE GET RESULTS
Our Training and Coaching is uniquely delivered by experts.
Ask yourself “If YOU want to change, YOU want to be taught by somebody who has lived where YOU have lived 24/7, someone who understands YOU.
That is why we combine the best techniques from both coaching and mentoring to bring out the best in each participant. We do this by generating new levels of awareness, whereby we give each participant the means to improve their own productivity, and that of others, through their own improved personal effectiveness by creating a culture of ownership through discovery, creation and innovation.
Our training is specifically designed to create mindsets of awareness, empowering participants with the intellectual resources required to think ‘out of the box’.
Who are better qualified than those who have made the BEHAVIOURAL transformations to Mentor, Coach and Train you in your release from prison or from a youth offending establishment.
We WILL give YOU the tools, cutting edge information that is uniquely structured and delivered to help you understand YOU better. With that information you are then in the driving seat to reach your potential and participate full in society.
