Skills Development TrainingFrom our experience and evidence based from on-going projects it is apparent that the presence of cognitive skills are becoming significantly important when ex- offenders are seeking employment.

Our Skills Development Training course recognize the need for this style of training and will equip offenders with cognitive skills for use in the workplace, equipping them with those skills to aid in the transfer from training to real life work situations, thereby helping to increase employability and reducing re-offending.

We understand from our personal experience that most employers have a basic requirement for generic skills. More important is the need for individuals to be able to be involved in team co-operation, problem solving, be adequately mentally and emotionally equipped to deal with authority, find agreement with their employers demands and be able to apply thinking and learning skills in their respective roles.

All of our team have the presence of knowing the problems faced by having a prison record. We are strongly positioned to offer advice and guidance to ensure individuals are totally armed with the relevant basic life skills, including IT, business, through to Key Skills of Literacy and Numeracy. In fact everything to optimize the individual’s skills and abilities ensuring an outcome of a successful placement or further training liaison with Local Colleges.
